Ski Jumpers’ Golf Trophy 2016

This Monday Michi, Schiffi, Fetti, Patrick and me challenged our Norwegian ski jumping colleagues Anders Fannemel, Andreas Stjernen, Johann Andre Forfang, Daniel Andre Tande and Alex Stöckl already for the third time on a friendly golf tournament; although we did had an exciting “fight” at the really beautiful golf club Zillertal-Uderns.

Although my golf partner and opponent Anders isn’t (yet) a great golfer like myself 😉 we did had a lot of fun on the golf course despite the fact that our shots didn’t always landed where would like them to have them. 😀

Luckily we were able to win again against our Norwegian opponents and friends! :-) During winter the battle will start again, but then back on the hill.

See you!

Back on the Hill!

Since this week we are back on the hill! :-)
A great feeling to strap on the skies again for the first time since the world cup finale in Planica and to go ski jumping. I have to say, it’s already great fun again.

Two weeks ago we already strapped on our skies on the Dachstein glacier to work on our slipperiness. But of course we still have to work a lot on our fitness basics; like we did in the last two months. Nevertheless it is also quite fun because I always train with Michi and also with all the other athletes during our trainings courses. We always have something to laugh about.

This week we were a very huge training group because we trained with the Austrian Nordic Combined athletes in Villach. Cool course and nice to exchange views with those guys.

And today – the Euro will begin!! Ahhh… that will be a really cool time! I guess during the next weeks you will find me sitting in front of my TV more often than usual, especially when the Austrian Team has it’s matches. Fingers are crossed! Let’s go guys!! :-)

See you soon and have fun watching the Euro!
