Here I am again, freshly back from vacations. I had some very nice days with friends in Croatia. Sun, pool and relaxing. I could familiarize with this lifestyle 😉

Next week we will continue our training and our preparations for next season. I’m really looking forward to this. Eventually we have in about a month our home Summer Grand Prix in Hinzenbach.

But before that we I have a very special “competition” this Saturday. I will compete on the soccer field with my home club SV Schwarzach against Michis home club Kirchberg-Thening. Of course the match of the week 😉

If you would like to see it live, then come to Schwarzach – this Saturday, 26th of August. Kick Off 15.30. Entrance is free! I guess this will be a blast. But we won’t make it easy for Michi 😉 There only can be one winner.

the first summer competitions are over and overall I’m satisfied with my performance. Of course the results are not those I want to have, but there’s still some time till the winter season and I know I’m on the right track. Furthermore it was nice to meet the other nations and to see how they are doing so far.

Besides the Summer Grand Prix, training stood in the foreground. You know, what you don’t train during summer, you can’t make up for in winter 😉

But nevertheless summer will be enjoyed too and therefore we were with the whole national team at the Beach volleyball world championships in Vienna. Really cool event and a great atmosphere. Recommendable.

Before we continue with our preparations, I will head for short vacations – recharging the batteries.
